Keeping your pet healthy at all life stages
The goal at Sprayberry Animal Hospital is to help pets share more happy and healthy years with their families by providing customized pet wellness care that can be used throughout your pet's life. From giving your new puppy or kitten their needed vaccinations to keeping your senior pet healthy and comfortable as they age, our team is here to support you. We look forward to working with you and your four-legged family members with complete, long-term care for many years to come.
All wellness visits are scheduled for 30 minutes. Visits for other medical concerns or questions may take longer than than the 30 minutes, please allow at least this amount of time for a thorough appointment.
During your pet’s wellness exam, our doctors will:
- Examine teeth, eyes, and ears
- Examine the respiratory system
- Assess your pet’s heart
- Inspect the skin and coat
- Palpate joints and muscles for arthritis or orthopedic conditions
- Discuss performing baseline blood work
- Administer vaccinations
- Perform a fecal check and a heartworm exam
Vaccines for dogs and cats
Vaccinations play a crucial role in your pet's health. It is extremely important to vaccinate puppies and kittens as their immature immune systems will make them more susceptible to many serious diseases like parvovirus (dogs) and herpes virus (cats). In order to make a customized vaccination plan for your pet, we will ask some questions regarding your pet, their environment, and any places you intend to take them. Once we get this information, we can work with you to make sure your pet is protected.
